Amazon Echo Devices

If you have not previously setup your device on another network: 
  1. Open the Alexa app on your mobile device.
  2. Once the Alexa app opens, select the settings icon on the bottom right corner.
  3. Then, “Set up a new device”.
  4. Select the type of device you wish to set up.
  5. Select your desired language and press continue.
  6. Follow on-screen prompts to begin device setup.
  7. Follow on-screen prompts to connect to the Amazon device via the integrated Wi-Fi hotspot.
  8. Connect to the hotspot.
  9. Once connected, choose “Continue”.
  10. The MAC address of your Echo will display at the bottom of this page.
  11. Proceed to Step 2.

If you have previously setup your device on another network: 
  1. Open the Alexa app on your mobile device.
  2. Once the Alexa app opens, select the settings icon on the bottom right corner.
  3. Next, select your Alexa device. It will be listed under the "Devices" section.
  4. Scroll down and select "About".
  5. You will see your MAC Address listed on this page.
  6. Proceed to Step 2.

Amazon Fire TV and Fire TV Stick Devices

  1. Select "Settings" from the device's home screen.
  2. Then, scroll to the right and select "Device".
  3. Next, select "About".
  4. Scroll down to the Network tab and your device's MAC Address (Wi-Fi) will be listed. 
  5. Proceed to Step 2.

Step 2

Visit the Penn device registration portal by clicking here.

Once logged in:
1. Enter your 16 digit MAC address.
2. Enter a brief description of your device (Echo, Playstation 4, etc.)
3. Click the 'Register Device' button.

4. Record the password displayed by clicking on the ? next to "How do I connect my device".  You will need this once your device has registered.
