What is eduroam?


Eduroam is a secured wireless network that allows students, faculty and staff to use their home institution’s credentials (for Penn affiliates, their PennKey) to access wireless network services, when visiting other eduroam participating institutions without having to set up a guest account.




Download SecureW2 Wizard for eduroam by clicking the link: http://eduroam.upenn.edu/ 

Enter your PennKey email and PennKey password. Please manually enter this information. Do not autofill these fields. Once entered, select the JoinNow button to download the profile.







Once entered, select the JoinNow button and follow the next prompt. You will be asked to download a profile. Please select Allow.







After selecting Allow, you will receive a notification that the Profile Downloaded. You will then need to review the profile in your Settings app if you want to install it. 






To confirm that the profile has been downloaded, go to your Settings and you should see a new entry at the top labeled Profile Downloaded.






Select the profile to be installed, then select Install in the top right.

  




You will be prompted to enter your phone's passcode and confirm with Install one more time.





Select Done and you will be connected to Eduroam.





To confirm that you are now connected to Eduroam go back to Settings > Wi-Fi and make sure that it is on the eduroam network.
