What is eduroam?

Eduroam is a secured wireless network that allows students, faculty and staff to use their home institution’s credentials (for Penn affiliates, their PennKey) to access wireless network services, when visiting other eduroam participating institutions without having to set up a guest account.

Download SecureW2 Wizard for eduroam by clicking the link: http://eduroam.upenn.edu/

Select Configure Profile Only (configure only). Enter your PennKey email and PennKey password. Please manually enter this information. Do not autofill these fields. Once entered, select the JoinNow button to download the profile.

Next, double-click on the profile you just downloaded, then click the Apple Icon (top left corner of your desktop) to go to your System Settings.

Navigate to Privacy & Security and proceed to Profiles to find the configuration file you downloaded.

Double-click to review University of Pennsylvania eduroam MobileConfig profile (pictured below). Click on Install.

Another notification box will appear. Click the Install button.

You will be prompted to type in your computer password. Once the profile finishes installing, you should be connected to eduroam.
